ABOUT SHINE CHILDREN’S MINSTRY
“Lighting Kids’ Way to Jesus on the Treasure Coast” is what our Children’s Ministry is all about. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.” It is our desire to partner with families to help children become lifelong followers of Christ. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Through dynamic worship and age-appropriate Bible lessons relevant to today’s kids, we will teach the Word of God. The Children’s Ministry will provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for kids. We consider it a privilege to serve your children—infants through 5th grade.

Check In and Safety Procedures
The safety and well-being of your child is important to us! All children are checked in through our computerized check in system at our Welcome Center. Each child receives a name tag with a security code number and the classroom to which they are assigned. We give you a parent tag with the same security code number as your child. The parent tag must be shown in order to release your child at the end of the class and will be used if your child needs your assistance during the service. In addition, a member of our Safety and Security Team is assigned to the Children’s Ministry area throughout each service.
We have a dedicated team of ministry partners who are faithful in showing the love of Christ and are committed to teaching God’s truth. They are pre-screened with an interview, reference checks, and a criminal history background check before being allowed to serve in this ministry.
