HOW TO JOIN

The first step to join the Women's Ministry Partner team is to complete a Ministry Partner Application (available at the Welcome Table).  Please turn in the completed form to

FAQ's

What does the Women's Ministry Partner Team do?
These team members are responsible for organizing, preparing, and serving at all activities of the Women's Ministry, thus fulfilling the vision of the ministry and of Calvary Chapel PSL.
 What team areas are available?
As the ministry continues to grow, more opportunities will increase.  Presently, the areas for serving are:
    1.  Hospitality: Is involved in the welcoming of women to events, plans and provides refreshment, uses creativity in decorating for events, and is involved in any entertainment needs.
    2.  Special Events:  Involved in the planning of events off premises, finding locations to hold events, coordinating food and refreshments with outside vendors, and assuring equipment needed is secured.
    3.  Administration:  Assisting in the creation of brochures, rosters, flyers, record keeping, collection of fees, purchasing of studies or other materials needed, and communications.
    4.  Service Projects:   Researching, planning, and working with other teams to coordinate service projects to be done by the Women's ministry.
    5.  Small Group Facilitators:  Facilitate small group discussions during Bible Study Sessions.
    6.  Prayer and Worship:  Coordinate and/or lead the women in prayer and/or worship whenever there is opportunity at events.

    7. Creative Arts: Crafting and using creative talents in support of ministry events.
Do I have the experience to be on the team?
Some qualifications are necessary for the Small Group Facilitator position and to be involved in the Prayer and Worship committee.  However, having a servant’s heart and a desire to minister to Women and the community is required.
Will I receive training in areas of service?
Through planning meetings and working with committee chairpersons, you will become a vital member of the Women's Ministry Partner team.

What are the time commitments and requirements to serve?
You will be asked to commit to at least one full year of service in the Women's ministry.  Additionally, you will need to participate in Bible Studies, attend meetings for event planning, and serve at events as priorities allow.
