How to Join

The first step to join the Biblical Guidance Ministry Team is to fill out a Ministry Partner Application (available Sunday's at the information window) and give that completed  form to Pastor Teddy.

What is the function of the Biblical Guidance Ministry?
The Biblical Guidance Ministry offers encouragement and hope through Christ to our church family and community. It is our desire to give practical help to those who are facing challenging life issues, by helping advises apply Biblical truths to daily living.

What type of guidance do we offer?
There are four areas of guidance that we offer:

1. Individual
2. Pre-marital
3. Marital
4. Substance Abuse (Based upon addiction)

Who can serve as a member of the Biblical Guidance Ministry Team?

An individual that has been approved by the staff of Calvary Chapel Port St. Lucie.  We are looking for Spirit-filled, mature believers who have a heart to help others.

Do you offer professional counseling?
We are not licensed counselors. We do not offer professional counseling. We only offer Biblical guidance.

Do you make referrals to licensed counselors?
Yes, you can see Pastor Teddy for a referral to an outside licensed counselor.

What is the length of a  guidance session?
A typical guidance session is one hours. Each group of sessions may last up to five weeks.
