Billy Almaguer
Billy moved to West Palm Beach from Texas in 1999 shortly after receiving the Lord. As the Lord began working in his heart he began getting involved at Christ Fellowship in Palm Beach Gardens. In June of 2001 Billy met Kelli (his wife) while serving on a mission's team in the Dominican Republic. In July of 2001 Billy began serving at Calvary Chapel Jupiter where he and Kelli were actively involved with Student and Young Adult ministries leading worship and serving where needed. In November of 2002 Billy and Kelli were married and have been blessed by the birth of their daughter Kinley. In August of 2004 the Lord called his family to move from Jupiter to be a part of Calvary Chapel Port St. Lucie. Currently Billy oversees the Young Adults Ministry, Creative Ministry, and assists as a member of the Worship Band. The Lord has placed a simply call on Billy's heart, that is to "Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant]" (James 4:10 Amplified). Billy claims that one of the most profound things that he ever learned in a Sunday service was that the pastor can't be our spiritual tow truck and that we have to learn to utilize the Word of God to change our lives and get ourselves on the road again.
