Calvary Chapel Port St. Lucie offers several ministries in which you can serve the Lord.  There are ample opportunities for you to serve, regardless of whether you are highly skilled in one area or if you have no experience at all.  Each ministry has several opportunities for you to prayerfully consider.

What is the time commitment like?

The time commitments vary from ministry to ministry. The director/coordinator for the ministry you are interested in will give you more specifics as you go through the Ministry Partner assimilation process.

What if I am interested in serving in several areas?

We believe the Lord has given you certain gifts and talents, and that you should focus your service to the Lord in the areas He has gifted you in. Having said that, it is important for you to do a one or two things very well, rather than many things with mediocrity.

Do you have an application process?

Yes. This application process is part of the Ministry Partner assimilation process that every potential Ministry Partner must go through before serving here at Calvary.

Do I have to have experience in the area I wish to serve?

Not in most cases. If you feel called to a certain ministry then the Lord will equip you for that ministry while you serve.  However, a certain level of experience is required to participate in both the Music/Worship and Creative Ministries.  Please see the requirements for each of these ministries listed under their respective pages.
