Home Fellowships
Home Fellowships are a smaller version of the church where individuals can participate in a welcoming environment and share food, fun, fellowship, and activities that impact the local community.
The Model
Acts 2: 42, 46, 47: And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers… And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
The Vision
The vision of these small groups is the same as the vision of CCPSL "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Mt.28:19). Home fellowships provide an environment where believers can gather in smaller, less formal settings. In these small groups, we "make disciples of Jesus" by connecting, growing, and serving. Each fellowship has its own personality but all include "Bible Study, Fellowship, and Prayer".
The Paradox
As the church grows larger, home fellowships maintain the connections and intimacy of a small church.
