Children continue to struggle with hunger on the Treasure Coast, with 25.7%, or 31,300 children being considered food insecure. *Feeding America’s child food insecurity statistics reveal that 26.1% or 15,970 children in St Lucie County struggle with hunger.  Persons are regarded as food insecure if, in the previous year, they experienced uncertain or limited availability of nutritionally adequate food. Simply put, a food insecure person does not know from where his or her next meal will come.

GVCM focuses on caring for & feeding impoverished children & their families in Haiti.  Haiti is a nation that has long been devastated by oppression and natural disasters.

Operating in the South Sudan Far Reaching Ministries (FRM) and Far Reaching Ministries Aviation (FRMA) continue to focus on providing discipleship, followed by providing humanitarian resources relief. This includes providing education to the poor and persecuted people in various nations throughout the world. FRM’s mission is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and dying of the world, with discipleship as the primary vehicle. Together, FRM and FRMA accomplishes this through evangelism, addressing audiences of all sizes (from evangelical crusades to one-on-one relationships), planting and establishing churches, as well as the founding Bible schools.

Operating as Channels of His Grace to the People of Haiti, New Hope Missions International, Inc. is reaching out to fulfill the Great Commission of “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.” This is accomplished by equipping the saints through church ministry, education, feeding programs, healthcare, evangelistic outreaches, and child sponsorship. In fact, through the years the Mission has adopted what has become known as “The Haiti Equation” – Their Needs + Christ’s Love + Your Heart = New Hope.

The Footstool Project (TFP)

Hidden amongst the remote valleys of the world’s highest mountains live some of the most forgotten people groups on the planet. These diverse ethnic Tibetan communities have existed for generations having never heard the name of Jesus or the salvation that He offers. As no roads go into these areas, a 7 to 20 day trek through the most difficult terrain on the planet is required just to reach these villages. The goal of TFP is to plant churches amongst 23 ethnically and linguistically unique Tibetan Buddhist people groups. By bringing education and medical help where it has never existed, by fighting the epidemic of human trafficking, and by meeting other physical needs, TFP is following the example of Jesus who met physical needs as He focused on people’s greatest need of all – their need for a Savior. TFP’s humanitarian efforts also provide a platform to enter villages with the gospel where doors would otherwise be closed. The mission of TFP is to exalt Christ at the top of the world by seeing His church established, making the mighty Himalayas His footstool (Heb. 10:12-13).

Caleb and Hannah Brooks, with their son, Josiah, live and work in Nepal as full-time TFP missionaries.

MFI exists to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in partnership with Bible-centered missions by providing reliable transportation and logistical services.
MFI carries affiliated mission personnel to and from the countries of Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.  This would include affiliated missionary families, medical teams, and work teams that need to be transported directly to some remote airstrips.  The size of the aircraft also allow affiliated mission personnel to accompany their belongings, which eases its clearance through customs once it arrives.  Some of these belongings could be pets, building materials, furniture, or tools.

Dave and Amy Carroll moved from South Florida to Billings Montana to launch a church, with only the promise of one couple to attend. Elevation Church met for the first time at Sandstone Elementary School on March 31, 2013. It has experienced a tremendous amount of growth during the past year, seeing some 100-plus people give their lives to Jesus Christ and baptizing 77 people in the past two years. They have been able to help several new church plants and other community organizations financially. They have also just recently moved into a 25,000-square-foot facility for long-term ministry. They count the greatest success of their church to seeing new people come every week with many coming to faith in Jesus and begin to follow him step by step.

About the Pastor (Dave Carroll)

Calvary Compassion Church is a family of believers seeking the Heart of God, in the heart of the community, with a heart to serve God’s people. The church exists to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people of Ft. Pierce.  It has been stated that people don’t care about how much you know, until they know how much you care!  With that in mind, their motto is “we will LOVE, SERVE, REACH, and TEACH the people of Ft. Pierce”.  “The Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve.” Mark 10:45.  Jesus not only stated this, but he modeled it everyday.

On January 10, 2016 Pastor Billy Almaguer and his wife Kelli along with a team of committed Christ Followers launched Awaken City Church in St. Augustine, FL.  The vision of Awaken City Church is simple, to Follow Jesus and to Cultivate People. As a church we will pursue Jesus in all that we do.  We believe that God has put people in our lives who are close to us but far from Him, as a result, we as believers in Jesus have an incredible opportunity to use our lives as stories of redemption and grace so that others can see God’s grace and goodness in our lives.  We also believe that God has called us to make disciples who make disciples.

Pastor Billy & Kelli served for 4 years at Calvary PSL in Student & Worship Ministries.
